You're going to feel like dancing at Dreamland's Sunset Session as it has been announced Scissor Sisters' Ana Matronic will DJ at the event.

In celebration of Margate Pride, which takes place on Saturday, August 11, Ana Matronic will play as headline DJ at the evening show on the park's Scenic Stage.

Matronic had made a profession out of soundtracking the good times in life; whether it's onstage as a member of pop phenomenon Scissor Sisters, or on air as Radio 2's Doyenne of Disco.

Also taking to the stage will be Betsy, who has worked with the likes of Joe Goddard of Hot Chip.

Margate Pride is a culture-rich contemporary event and a celebration of all of Thanet's LGBTQI life and is a chance for everyone to celebrate liberation.

This year will celebrate alternative culture, community activism and local and international talent.

Rebecca Ellis, senior creative producer at Dreamland Margate said: “Here at Dreamland we’re thrilled to be working with Margate Pride again.

"Our Sunset Sessions are incredibly popular, so it’s great to be able to join forces with such a brilliant community event in this way.

"The park recently received an award for ‘Best Event Venue over 1000 capacity’, which is a fantastic achievement for the team and we’re looking forward to programming many more large-scale events in 2018!”

Tickets for the Sunset Session with Margate Pride start from £5.00 plus booking fee and went on sale todayy via dreamland.co.uk. Members receive discounted entry.
