A strongman will attempt to be the first person to swim around the entirety of mainland Britain.
Setting off from Margate Harbour tomorrow, Ross Edgley will brave the waves to travel more than 2,700km in about 100 days.
From Lincolnshire, the 32-year-old has previously scaled Everest, swum 100km with a tree tied to him and completed a marathon pulling a 1,400kg Mini.
He hopes to travel between 30km and 50km per day without touching land - only stopping to sleep on his support boat.
He will swim for two six-hour bursts everyday in a clockwise direction from Margate, finishing at Tower Bridge in London on September 9.
In the build up to tomorrow, Mr Edgley has been consuming between 10,000 and 15,000 calories per day.
