Teenage cyclist found in King Street, Margate with life-threatening head injuries

A teenage cyclist has been found in a street with life-threatening head injuries.

The boy was discovered in King Street, Margate, at 11.50pm on Friday.

He was taken to a London hospital and remains in a serious condition.

Officers are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time and saw the incident.

Investigating officer PC Mick Sayer said: "We would also like to speak to the driver of a silver or grey vehicle, and the driver of a taxi, both reported to be in the vicinity.

"The taxi had a sticker in the back window with a partial phone number, containing the number of 333 or 888."
