They used air bags to stabilise the vehicle before cutting the occupant free.

The fire service left just after 2.30pm.

Police were also alerted. A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1.50pm on Wednesday after a car collided with a building in Dadson Way, Westwood, Thanet.

"Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance and assisted with the recovery of the vehicle.
