Margate’s lead at the top of the Ryman League was cut to just three points on Saturday after a last-gasp equaliser.
Visitors Harrow snatched a point in the 90 minute when Marc Charles-Smith scored from close range.
It means Margate are now just three points clear of second-placed Maidstone, who won at home to Bognor. Gate have played four games more than their rivals.
Margate went behind in the eighth minute when Harold Odametey capitalised on some slack defending to covert beyond keeper Nikki Bull.
Charles-Smith doubled their lead in the 50 minute with a shot from the edge of the area before Luke Moore pulled one back just before the hour mark after good work by Charlie Allen.
Moore got this second of the game on 66 minutes to level the scores and Jamie Taylor looked to have turned the game around with 10 minutes to go when he turned in Allen’s cross to make it 3-2.
But Charles-Smith, who headed over with five minutes left, had other ideas and he claimed his second of the afternoon to deny Gate victory at the death.
