Tonbridge Angels 2 Molesey 0

A 2-0 win for Tonbridge Angels against Molesey at Longmead on Tuesday night means Tony Dolby's side go into their last match of the season on Saturday sitting in third place in the Ryman League Division 1 table.

The home side took the lead after just seven minutes when Fraser Logan scored from the edge of the box.

The points were wrapped up 11 minutes into the second half when the impressive Ray Powell headed in his 13th goal of the season from Logan's cross.

The result leaves Angels three points ahead of fourth-placed Metropolitan Police, which means that just a point from their trip to bottom-of-the-table Corinthian Casuals will be enough to earn them a home play-off tie against the team that finishes sixth.

That game will be played on Monday, kick-off 3pm.
