A suspected shoplifter is set to appear in court.

The man is alleged to be linked to an organised shoplifting gang and was stopped by officers in London Road, Tunbridge Wells, yesterday.

Officers searched a Mercedes, finding milk and medicinal products.

Darius Dragunas, 51, of Barking Road, Plaistow, London, was arrested and taken into custody.

He was later charged with theft and bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 April.
