Armed post office raid suspects bailed

THREE men who were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Kent post office have been released on bail.

The incident happened at St John's Post Office in Tunbridge Wells last Tuesday morning.

The men, aged 23, 33,and 39, were arrested in the Tunbridge Wells area on Thursday. They have now been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the raid during which a Post Office cash-in-transit van employee was hit on the head with what is believed to be a hand gun.
