Kojo Ohene to face trial for attempted murder after stabbing in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells

A man accused of attempted murder will face trial next month.

Kojo Ohene, 44, was charged after a man in his 20s was stabbed at a property in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, last Thursday.

The victim managed to drive a car to Belgrave Road before calling paramedics. He is now in a stable condition.

Ohene, who was arrested at an address in Croydon, London, on Sunday, appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

He was remanded in custody to face trial at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, September 19.

Police have said Ohene was known to the victim.

A second man, aged 35 and from Ashford, was detained on Friday, August 19, on suspicion of assisting an offender. He was later released pending further investigation.
