Bag containing car keys and electronics that fell from car in London Road, Tunbridge Wells, stolen

A bag containing car keys and electronics worth more than £1,700 was allegedly stolen from the side of the road after falling from a moving vehicle.

It happened in London Road, Tunbridge Wells, at around 8.45am on February 18.

A GPS watch and iPads were in the bag, along with passports and the car keys.

The owner realised what had happened and returned to look for the bag but it had allegedly already been taken.

Joshua Perks, of Roundhill Road, Tunbridge Wells, was today (April 18) charged with theft by finding.

The 35-year-old has been bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on May 1.
