Two arrested for drugs offences after car searches in Tunbridge Wells

Police have arrested two men in connection with drug offences.

On Wednesday a silver Daewoo believed to have no insurance was stopped by officers in London Road, Tunbridge Wells.

A number of bags suspected to contain Class A drugs were then discovered inside the car.

Mark Tottervich, 26, of Romford Road, Forest Gate, London, was arrested and later charged with possessing crack cocaine, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

He is bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 5.

On the following day the driver of a Vauxhall Astra seen acting suspiciously by officers. They was stopped in Victoria Road, also in Tunbridge Wells.

The driver and the vehicle were searched and officers seized cash, a number of mobile phones and quantities of suspected cocaine.

A 36-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and subsequently bailed to return to a police station on Monday, February 11.
