Pint of Science Talk from the Faculty of Engineering and Science

Is Covid-19 still a thing? Find out from researchers at the Faculty of Engineering and Science, University of Greenwich.
As part of worldwide Pint of Science festival, Gauri Thapa, Research Student, and Kelly Da Costa, Postdoc, from the Medway School of Pharmacy, will delve into the ways Covid-19 is still relevant to public health and will also share insights on long Covid and how this could be treated. This engaging and topical talk will take place at Command House Pub, Chatham.

The Faculty of Engineering and Science will once again be taking part in the worldwide Pint of Science festival. Academics and researchers will be speaking at unique venues in Kent and London to share exciting and topical research in the areas of their expertise. Venues this year include a university bar and a local distillery and there are a record number of talks on offer.

These talks are open to all and are a 'beginner's look' at science topics.

Attendees do not need to have any prior knowledge of these topics to attend (although it is advised that Pint of Science talks are not suitable for children).
