Pint of Science Talk from the Faculty of Engineering and Science

Formulations that target impact and localise action - discover the magic of science and how the latest technologies help us advance medical care.
As part of worldwide Pint of Science festival, Professor Peter Griffiths, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Engineering and Science, and Professor Joshua Boateng, Associate Head of School of Science - Research and Knowledge Exchange, will share insights on formulation science and the advancements that are improving medical care.

This exciting and topical talk will take place at The Appleyard Pub, Sittingbourne, Kent.

The Faculty of Engineering and Science will once again be taking part in the worldwide Pint of Science festival. Academics and researchers will be speaking at unique venues in Kent and London to share areas of their expertise. Venues this year include a university bar and a local distillery and there are a record number of talks on offer.

Talks are open to all and are a 'beginner's look' at science topics.

Attendees do not need to have any prior knowledge of these topics to attend (although it is advised that Pint of Science talks are not suitable for children).
