Man struck by falling tree

A MAN was taken to hospital by the Kent Air Ambulance after being injured by a falling tree.

The victim was suffering from chest pains after the incident at Meopham, near Gravesend, yesterday afternoon.

The air ambulance was first on the scene, reaching the man in 17 minutes. Medics stabilised him before flying him to Maidstone Hospital. His condition is not yet known.
