Are aliens checking out the village of Langley near Maidstone?

Rose Teague would like to know the explanation for strange lights seen hanging over the village on Thursday evening.

Mrs Teague said: “I was just saying goodbye to my son and grandson at about 9.50pm. As we stood on the doorstep we noticed three sets of lights very low in the sky. We all saw them and watched them for several minutes.

“They didn’t move or flash, but just hung there, quite large and bright. It definitely wasn’t an aircraft, they were far too low for one thing.

“I was just calling to my husband to come out and take a look when suddenly they vanished. It was as if someone just turned off a switch.

“It was funny, I just had they feeling they suddenly realised they were being watched.

“My son joked that he was going to get home quick, before we were all abducted by aliens, but it was quite disturbing. I kept thinking about those lights all night.”

Mrs Teague would like to know if anyone else saw the phenomenon, and whether anyone can offer an explanation.

She said: “We’re not crazy. Surely someone else saw them?”
