AN ELDERLY man was beaten and robbed of a purse containing a small amount of money at his home in Thanet.
The 85-year-old needed hospital treatment for bruising after the assault at his flat in Ramsgate High Street last night.
Two women, a 28-year-old from Ramsgate and a 30 year old from Margate, were questioned by police.
