by Hayley Robinson

A good time was had by everyone who attended the mhs homes annual fun day.
Hundreds of people, young and old, went along to the action-packed event at Jacksons Field, City Way, Rochester, on Saturday .
There was lots to see and do. Children got the chance to dress up and enter a fancy dress competition, have their face painted, jump up and down on a bouncy castle and watch the tricks of a magician.
Training Them Live provided the music and a fun fair meant shrieks of delight filled the air throughout the day.
Other activities included competitions and stalls for people to browse and buy from.
The Mayor of Medway, Cllr David Royle, opened the event.
He said: “It was an enjoyable day and everyone seemed to have a very good time.”
Youngsters were also excited to meet the police officers who attended the event and some had the chance to see how it feels to be behind a riot shield.
