Popstar Olly Murs is the first name to be announced for a seaside concert series next year.

The Troublemaker singer will be performing at Dreamland as part of the Margate Summer Series in 2025.

The former X Factor contestant, who previously performed at Margate’s vintage fairground in 2023, will return to Kent as part of his run of tour dates next year.

His most recent set of live performances saw the singer support chart-topping boyband Take That on their nationwide tour.

The upcoming string of shows, which include two dates at London’s O2 Arena, will see the six-time BRIT nominee celebrate 15 years since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2010.

Since then, he has gone on to release five No. 1 albums, co-hosted TV show the Xtra Factor and spent five years as a judge on The Voice.

For his Dreamland concert, which takes place Friday, August 15, Olly will be joined by MOBO Award-winning artist Lemar.

The RnB singer is best known for singles such as Dance (With U) and If There's Any Justice.
