About 2,000 residents in the Stumble Lane area of Kingsnorth lost power this morning.

EDF say a fault on the electricity distribution network meant power was lost just before 9am.

By 10am most people were reconnected while the remaining 340 customers were reconnected just before 10.20am.

EDF spokesman Niamh Arnett said: "We apologise to customers for the inconvenience this caused."
