Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a barn in Ashford overnight.

At its height six fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Giggers Green Lane in Aldington.

At just before midnight just three crews remained at the scene, supported by a bulk water carrier.

This morning firefighters are protecting nearby homes while the blaze is being allowed to burn under controlled conditions.
