An ultrasound machine worth £60,000 stolen from a car in Folkestone has been found.
The machine was taken from a silver Vauxhall Corsa parked in Earls Avenue on the evening of September 2.
Following an article in last week's Kentish Express, a reader informed police they had seen the machine in a field behind Shorncliffe Road, Folkestone.
The investigating officer DC Chris Brett safely retrieved the machine and brought it to the station over the weekend.
The equipment is password-protected and was useless to anyone other than its lawful owner, Diagnostic Health Systems Ltd, who offered a £250 cash reward for information leading to its discovery.
In the same incident, the car's owner also noticed an iPhone and iPad were missing from her car. But these items are yet to be found.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of theft. He is on bail until October 3.
Anyone with information about the missing items is asked to phone DC Brett on 01303 289088, quoting reference number ZY/25913/13.
