Tractor spills straw onto A20 roundabout in Charing, near Ashford

A tractor shed its load of straw bales on a roundabout, blocking an A-road.

The incident happened on the A20 in Charing, near Ashford, just before 11.30am.

The vehicles trailer overturned, but the driver was not injured.

Pictures show a forklift removing the bales, which had spilled into the middle of the road at the bottom of Charing Hill.

Police and fire crews were called to assist with the clear-up.

There were reports of queues in the area at the time of the crash, with police stopping drivers as the roundabout was cleared.

Officers confirmed there were no reported injuries.
