Severe traffic congestion built up around Ashford on Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident on the M20's junction 10.

The Highways Agency say the accident happened at 4.10pm just before the exit slip road on the coastbound carriageway.

Police and the fire service were called to the incident and the Agency said traffic build-ups began to clear later in the afternoon.
