Motorists are being told to approach Faversham Road in Charing with caution after a reported crash near Monkey Lane.

People are being told to expect delays and to try and use alternative routes wherever possible.

A spokesman for the Police said: "We were called at 1.54pm on Thursday, June 15 to a two vehicle collision in Faversham Road, Ashford."

"Officers attended the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Two people suffered minor injuries."

Ambulance services have confirmed that two ambulances attended the crash however the patients were able to be discharged from the paramedics at the scene.
