An air ambulance was scrambled after a car and a cyclist collided at a supermarket junction.
Emergency services attended the scene at Simone Weil Avenue in Ashford at about 5.45pm today.
Onlookers Steve Salter and Andy Clark submitted these pictures while the road was closed by police.
One shows the bicycle on the road, and another shows the main road to Sainsbury's closed in both directions.
Mr Salter said: "Anybody who left after the Sunday trading hours would've been stuck in there.
"I would refer to this as an accident blackspot because there was a jogger killed there a few years back."
Simone Weil Avenue was closed in both directions at the Cow roundabout and Canterbury Road.
"As well as the air ambulance, there were several police vehicles," Mr Salter added.
"There were dents in the bonnet and possibly damage to the windscreen."
