A pensioner has been taken to hospital with a head injury after falling on an Ashford footbridge.
The air and land ambulances were called to Victoria Road, near the primary school, at 10.36am to reports a man in his 70s had fallen on the bridge that goes over the railway line.
Police were also called, and closed the road to allow the helicopter to land.
Rich Airey, spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service, said: "SECAmb was called to the footbridge over Victoria Road, Ashford following reports a man aged in his 70s had suffered a fall and a head injury.
"Paramedics attended the scene and we also assigned the air ambulance to assist us.
"The man was assessed and treated before being taken by road to William Harvey Hospital."
The road has now been cleared.
