Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash that closed a road in Charing this afternoon. A 23-year-old man, suffering with chest and pelvic pain, and a young boy were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
Two vehicles are believed to have been involved in the smash in Charing Hill (A252), which happened at around 2.30pm near Faversham Road.
The road had been closed while emergency services, including police, fire crews, two ambulances and the air ambulance, deal with the incident.
Both the man and boy were taken to hospital by land ambulance.
It is also believed that there has been an oil spillage in the road.
