A light aircraft made an emergency landing in a field next to Lydd Airport on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the plane, which was taking part in the Dover show air race, was approaching Lydd at about 1.30pm when it reported having engine trouble, before landing.
There were no injuries.
A spokesman for the airport said: “I can confirm that there was a minor incident on Saturday afternoon involving a light aircraft, which was taking part in the Dover show air race.
“Many of the aircraft appearing at the show used Lydd as a base over the weekend.”
