PARENTS in a Kent town are being warned about a man seen acting suspiciously and watching young children.
Police say the man, thought to be in his 40s, has been spotted in the Guernsey Road area of Ashford over recent days.
Some concerned parents have reported the matter to local schools and to the area's police community support officer Amy Edwards.
The man is described as being about 6ft tall with mousey dark hair worn in a ‘curtains’ style and clean shaven. He wears fawn corduroy trousers and a burgundy jacket. He has been seen with and without glasses.
PCSO Edwards says she received reports of four separate incidents. She added: "Kent police take this type of behaviour very seriously.
"I would like to speak to anyone who has seen this man’s direction of travel, or vehicle that he may be using. I advise anyone who sees this person acting suspiciously to call Kent Police or contact me on my mobile, 07989 992267.”
