Amanda: search for killer continues

POLICE officers are continuing their investigations into the murder of 21-year-old Ashford woman Amanda Champion.

They are making door-to-door inquiries in the South Willesborough area where Miss Champion died.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are continuing house-to-house inquiries in the Mead Road area and along the route Amanda took to work."

Miss Champion worked at BP Travel Marketing Services in Orbital Park, and was last seen leaving work on July 3.

Her body was found the weekend before last close to her flat in Alfred Road, Newtown.

For operational reasons, detectives have not yet revealed how she died.
