Inspector Jason Atkinson of Ashford community safety unit said: "We regularly carry out road safety checks across Ashford but will also respond when we receive reports of ongoing issues in a particular area.

"We remind people to play their part in keeping our roads safe, the speed limit is there as a maximum speed, and not general guidance for them.

"By driving responsibly and keeping your speed down, it will reduce the risks of collision, as well as improve quality of life for those who live near the road."
