Air ambulance lands in Eureka Park, Ashford

An air ambulance has landed at Eureka Park in Ashford amid reports of a medical incident.

It is understood to someone has been taken ill at Bannatyne Health club.

Witnesses say the helicopter touched down just before 7.30pm, but no one at the club was available for comment.

The ambulance service have been contacted for more details.

A spokesman from Bannatyne Health Club and Spa said: "We’d like to thank the fast response of paramedics and the support provided by members and our colleagues who helped one of our members when they were taken ill last night. We wish our member a speedy recovery."
