Antique chairs stolen from pick-up truck at Ashford

THIEVES stole two antique chairs from the back of a parked pick-up truck while the owner shopped at a supermarket.
The theft took place at the Tesco store in Park Farm, Ashford, while the owner of the Nissan vehicle was inside for around half an hour.
The chairs are described as being possibly French or Spanish origin with cane seats and a light wood, possibly walnut, turned side rails and vertical elements. The back slats are pierced and of an unusual design.
