Staff were soaked with wet sponges and youngsters showed off their sporting skills as an Ashford supermarket organised Sport Relief events.
Children from St Mary’s School were sponsored to walk to Sainsbury’s in Simone Weil Avenue then packed bags for customers and collected change in buckets to raise even more money.
Pupils from The Towers School gave a cheer leading demonstration and youngsters from Karate Leadership UK showed off their skills last Friday.
The next day staff paid to throw wet sponges at store manager John Webb and HR manager Jenny Woledge.
Staff also took part in a flash dance and cycled on an exercise bike.
The activities have so far raised £1,300 with the total expected to reach £2,000.
Elsewhere schools and other groups staged Sport Relief fundraisers.
