Pensioner Kenneth Taylor went missing from Ashford

Police are appealing for help in tracing a 'vulnerable' 72-year-old man who went missing yesterday.

Kenneth Taylor was last seen in Chilham where he had a cup of coffee with a friend.

Mr Taylor was only there a short time and then left, possibly in a red Fiat Cinquecento – number plate R354 CKK.

Kent Police are now appealing for the public’s help in finding Mr Taylor.

A spokesman said: “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. He was last seen wearing a dark blue print, short-sleeved shirt and white trousers.”

Anyone with information about Kenneth’s whereabouts or the location of the red Fiat Cinquecento, or anyone who sees someone matching his description in Ashford or the surrounding areas is urged to contact Kent Police by calling 101, quoting reference RID 66417.
