Ashford: Man in his 60s arrested following alleged stabbing in Oak Tree Road

A man in his 60s has been arrested following an alleged stabbing in Ashford.

Police were called just before 10.30pm yesterday to Oak Tree Road in South Ashford.

A man in his 40s, who was from the town, suffered injuries consistent with a stabbing and was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as stable.

Polie were called to Oak Tree Road (1527297)

The man in his 60s, who is also from the Ashford area, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.

Detective Inspector Dave Cox said: "We have already spoken to a number of potential witnesses and are following a number of lines of enquiry, however we would like to speak to anyone who saw this incident or has information about the assault and hasn’t already spoken to officers."
