Grace Nicholls powered her way to a double victory in the Kent County Athletic Championships at the Julie Rose Stadium.

The Ashford School pupil’s first success came in Saturday’s under-20 1,500m, which was run as a straight final and quickly developed into a battle between Nicholls and Invicta East Kent’s GB International Beth Carter.
