Boy flown to King's College Hospital in London after being hit by Ford Fusion in Willesborough in Ashford

A boy has been flown to hospital this morning after he was hit by a car in Ashford.
The youngster, believed by police to be about 12, was knocked down in Hythe Road, Willesborough.
He was flown to King's College Hospital, in London, after being struck by the silver Ford Fusion at just after 7.30am.
Police said the boy's family have been informed, but the extent of his injuries is not yet known.
Crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended.
The road was closed until about 8.40am while a police investigation was carried out.
