Boy assaulted by three teenagers on footpath in Ashford’s Queen Mother's Park behind fire station

A boy was assaulted in an attempted robbery on a footpath behind a fire station.

Police say they received a third-party report at 6.45pm on Monday that three teenagers had attacked the victim in Ashford and attempted to take a bag from him.

The incident happened in Queen Mother's park, Ashford

The incident happened behind the town's fire station on a path in Queen Mother's Park between Mace Lane and Heathfield Road.

Officers say all four people involved left the scene in the direction of Heathfield Road.

Police attended and searched the area but neither the suspects nor the victim could be found.

The victim has not yet come forward and officers are urging anyone with relevant information, who has not yet spoken to police, to contact them quoting reference 46/91299/24.
