Appeal after boy's Diamondback cycle stolen in Ashford Rugby Club car park

A boy was thrown off his bike by two thugs who then stole it.

Police are appealing for information after the victim was attacked in an Ashford car park yesterday.

The incident happened in Ashford Rugby Club's car park

The boy was sitting on the bicycle in the Ashford Rugby Club car park in Kinney's Lane between 6pm and 6.30pm when he was approached by two teenagers.

One asked to borrow his bike and when the victim declined, he was grabbed by the neck and pulled off it.

Both suspects were then seen to leave towards the A28 Canterbury Road.

They were both described as white, slim and aged 18 or 19. One had black hair and wore a grey hooded top. The other wore all black clothing with a bandana on his head.

The bicycle was a new orange Diamondback.
