Motorists faced delays on the M20 after a car burst into flames.

The blue SUV caught alight on the London-bound stretch between junctions 10 and 11.

Police and fire crews rushed to the scene just before 11.30am.

The car had stopped on the hard shoulder.

Officers were forced to close one lane, but all lanes have now reopened.
