Paramedics attend Westwell Lane, near Ashford, after incident in Foxbury Wood

A man was taken to hospital after several emergency vehicles were called to a woodland.

Three ambulances were spotted in Westwell Lane, near Ashford, shortly after 1pm on Saturday.

A photo shows the emergency vehicles and a Smart ForFour car parked near Foxbury Wood on the rural stretch.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We were called at approximately 1.30pm on Saturday to reports of a person in need of medical attention in Foxbury Wood, Westwell Lane.

“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before taking them to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”

KentOnline can reveal the man, who is in his 50s, suffered a leg injury.
