Man sustains head injuries in assault near the Stour Centre in Ashford

A man has been left with head injuries after being assaulted with a glass bottle.

The incident happened earlier this month, as a man in his 40s walked along Tannery Lane and down some steps opposite the Stour Centre in Ashford.

He was approached by three people as he used his mobile phone.

Police have released CCTV images of the suspects (5720477)

The gang then assaulted him and headed in the direction of Tannery Lane.

The victim sustained head injuries - one of which was consistent with being assaulted with a glass bottle - and required hospital treatment.
