Child injured as bus hits shelter

A GIRL of 12 received minor head injuries when a bus collided with a bus shelter.
The incident happened in Bank Street in Ashford on Wednesday, shortly before 2.40pm.
It is believed that the girl was struck by part of the wing mirror that fell from the bus. She attended the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford and was discharged the same day.
