A police helicopter was brought in to help catch three men on the run after a late-night disturbance.

Residents across Ashford town centre heard the chopper circling overhead from 11.30pm last night (Thursday, June 1), as the pilots helped officers on the ground.

The disturbance happened at Jemmett Road in South Ashford, and three men were later arrested in Canterbury Road on suspicion of affray. They remain in custody today (Friday, June 2).
