Police are investigating a roadside confrontation that resulted in an assault and damage to a van.

A white Toyota van and a grey Volkswagen Golf were being driven in Willesborough Road, Ashford at around 6.40pm on Friday, September 25 when both vehicles stopped.

The driver of the van was then assaulted and damage was caused to the van window and the driver’s mobile phone.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or saw either of the vehicles before it happened.
