A convicted drug dealer has re-appeared in court - to face his second driving ban in a month.
Sean Musgrave was jailed for more than three years in March after admitting dealing heroin and cocaine at Canterbury Crown Court.
He was also given a six-month ban for driving while disqualified, to be activated on his release from HMP Elmley.
But just weeks later the 34-year-old was brought before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court, where he admitted two further driving offences.
The court heard officers caught Musgrave driving a Citroen Berlingo in Elwick Road and Church Road without insurance or a licence in Ashford last October.
Magistrates handed down a further six-month driving ban to run concurrently with the existing one.
Musgrave initially appeared on the police’s radar suspected of being part of a gang who used a teenage boy to move drugs through Kent.
Detectives discovered texts on drug users’ phones from a line named "Tony" in January last year.
The probe led officers to a teenage boy who was being used to transport drugs into a house they believed was being "cuckooed".
Cuckooing is where drug dealers infiltrate the homes of vulnerable people.
Musgrave, previously of Coldharbour Lane, Ashford, was tracked down and arrested in the town on February 6.
Class A drugs were found in his possession, while a knife and baseball bat were discovered at his home.
He admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin, possession of a knife and possession of an offensive weapon at the crown court.
He was jailed for three years and two months.
