A main road was partially blocked while emergency services responded to an accident.

Police and ambulance crews were at the scene of the incident on the A28 outside Kennington, near Ashford.

The accident took place on Canterbury Road between the turning for Wye and the Old Mill pub.

The crash was affecting traffic between Ashford and Chilham.

It is not known if anyone was has been left seriously injured.

Kent police have been contacted for a comment.
