Dashcam footage appeal after Audi ‘driven at high speed on M20 with no lights’ between Junction 5 for Aylesford and Junction 10 for Ashford

Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a car was allegedly driven dangerously at high speed on the M20 with no lights on.

A grey Audi was reportedly spotted on the coastbound carriageway between Junction 5 for Aylesford and Junction 10 for Ashford on Sunday.

It was seen travelling between 5am and 5.30am.

A police spokesman said: “A 42-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident and has since been charged with offences including dangerous driving and drink driving.”

Officers believe the drivers of other vehicles may have seen and potentially recorded the incident on dashcam cameras.

They are urging anyone who has yet to speak to them to call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/200527/24.
