There were delays on the M20 this evening after a crash involving three vehicles.

Police were called to the smash on the coast-bound carriageway between junction 9 for Ashford and Faversham, and junction 10 for Ashford South just after 6pm.

Lanes were closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident, but the carriageway was fully reopened at 7.45pm.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a reported three vehicle collision on the M20 coastbound between junctions 9 and 10 at 6.05pm on Sunday 20 March.

"Secamb were also called and there are currently no reports of any serious injuries.

"To ensure public safety traffic was stopped however lanes two and three are now running.

"Officers are currently at the scene."
